Last Updated: August 30, 2026
Welcome to YourNodo ("the Platform," "we," "us," or "our"). YourNodo is a hyper-local neighborhood marketplace and community platform designed for Philippine subdivisions, puroks, and barangays. By creating an account or using the Platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, please do not use YourNodo.
1. Eligibility & Account Registration
1.1 Minimum Age. You must be at least fifteen (15) years of age to create an account. Users aged 15–17 must be part of a registered Household on the Platform, and the primary Household member (who must be at least 18 years old) assumes full responsibility and liability for the minor's activity on the Platform.
1.2 Real Identity Required. YourNodo is built on verified, real-world trust. You must register using your real legal name, a valid email address, and your actual residential address. Creating fake accounts, impersonating others, or using false information is strictly prohibited and grounds for immediate termination.
1.3 One Account Per Person. Each individual may maintain only one (1) account. Duplicate or shared accounts (except through the Household system) are prohibited.
1.4 Account Security. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your password and for all activities under your account. Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access.
2. User Roles & Verification
2.1 User Tiers. The Platform operates on a tiered trust system:
- Guest Visitor: Can browse limited public information only. Cannot transact, chat, or post.
- Unverified Resident: Can browse, chat, post WANTED and BARTER pins, and complete transactions with verified users. Cannot post SALE or PREORDER pins.
- Verified Resident: Full marketplace access including SALE and PREORDER pins, all Notes features, and eligibility for governance roles.
2.2 Verification Paths. Users may achieve Verified Resident status through:
- Invited Path: Scanned neighbor's verification QR vouch + 3 successful interactions.
- Cold Start Path: Organic join + 6 successful interactions.
- Fast Track: Upload of selfie, Government-issued ID, and utility bill for manual administrator review.
2.3 Verification Documents. If you choose Fast Track verification, you consent to the temporary collection and processing of your Government ID, selfie, and utility bill. These documents are stored in encrypted, access-restricted storage and are automatically deleted within thirty (30) days after upload, as further described in our Privacy Policy.
3. The Marketplace
3.1 Face-to-Face Transactions. YourNodo facilitates local, face-to-face transactions only. There is no shipping, delivery, or remote payment infrastructure. All exchanges are intended to occur within walking distance of your neighborhood.
3.2 Pin Types. Users may post the following pin types (subject to tier restrictions):
- WANTED: Request for a specific item or service.
- BARTER: Offer to trade goods or services.
- SALE: Offer to sell goods (Verified Residents only).
- PREORDER: Advance listing for future availability (Verified Residents only).
3.3 Transaction Completion. Transactions are confirmed mutually through the chat system. Upon single-quantity dual-completion, pin status updates to SOLD, and the listing remains visible in the feed for a 3-hour grace window before removal.
3.4 Platform Role. YourNodo is a venue for connection, not a party to any transaction. We do not guarantee the quality, safety, legality, or availability of any listed item or service. Buyers and sellers transact at their own risk.
3.5 Prohibited Listings. You may not list illegal items or services, counterfeit goods, hazardous materials, weapons, controlled substances, stolen property, or any item prohibited under Philippine law.
4. Pin Points (PP) & Payments
4.1 Pin Points. Pin Points ("PP") are the Platform's internal utility currency used for pin visibility, cloud saves, and other services. PP have no cash value and are non-refundable, non-transferable, and non-exchangeable for real currency.
4.2 Free Grants. Users receive a recurring free grant of 20 PP every three (3) days. This grant is non-cumulative.
4.3 Purchases & Allocations. Verified Residents may purchase PP packages. Allocations support your shared Household Pool and community reserves. Pin Points are strictly internal utility tokens and carry no fiat monetary value, cash redemption, or interest.
4.4 Shop Subscriptions. Verified Residents may subscribe to Shop Mode (₱99/month) for enhanced selling features. If a subscription lapses, the shop and permanent slots are retained but enhanced features are suspended.
5. Chat System
5.1 Pin-Gated Chat. All conversations originate from marketplace pins. There are no profile-to-profile direct messages, open messaging, or unsolicited communication channels.
5.2 Location Sharing. Exact address sharing within chat is temporary, user-controlled, and transaction-specific. You should never share sensitive personal details beyond what is necessary for a transaction.
5.3 Chat Retention. Chat messages are automatically deleted seven (7) days after transaction completion or pin expiration, whichever occurs first.
6. Notes System
6.1 Client-Side Storage. Notes (Personal, Budget, Business, Chat Notes) are stored locally on your device in client-side IndexedDB by default. Optional encrypted cloud backup is available for a 15 PP fee.
6.2 Private Receipts (Loan Ledger). The Loan Ledger (available to Verified Residents only) functions as a Private Receipt System for recording informal transactions or debts ("utang") mutually agreed upon between two verified residents. All ledger logs and lifts feature a three (3) minute dual-confirmation grace window. Receipt details, amounts, and participant identities remain private between the transacting parties and are never publicly broadcasted.
6.3 Accuracy. You are solely responsible for the accuracy of entries recorded in your private ledger. YourNodo provides the logging utility as a convenience and is not a financial guarantor or collection agency.
7. Household System
7.1 Verification Activation. Household nodes and shared PP rebate pools are not activated during unverified registration. A household node is officially activated when the first resident at a physical address achieves Verified Resident status, designating them as the Head of Household.
7.2 Family QR Invites. The verified Head of Household may generate a Household QR code to invite up to three (3) family members residing at the same address into their household node (unlocking Path D verification tracks and shared pool claims).
7.3 Occupancy Disputes & Removal. The verified Head of Household holds the exclusive administrative right within the Platform to dispute and remove unverified, unauthorized, or fraudulent occupant claims registered at their physical address.
7.4 Shared Household Pool. Verified household members share a household pool that automatically receives a ten percent (10%) rebate from all PP purchases made by household members. PP can be claimed directly by members for marketplace utility.
8. Community Governance
8.1 Milestone 1 (The Council). Volunteer governance activates when a community node achieves both eighteen (18) or more Verified Residents AND all nine (9) volunteer Council seats are filled. Council members help moderate node initiatives and community rules.
8.2 Milestone 2 (Elected Leader). Democratic leadership elections unlock when a community reaches forty-five (45) or more Verified Residents.
8.3 Community Treasury Fund (CTF). The Community Treasury Fund (CTF) operates strictly as an internal, closed-loop platform points pool (not fiat or real currency). It is used exclusively by the Council and elected leaders to sponsor subdivision-wide bulletin billboards, official public announcements, community polls, and local node initiatives without deducting from individual residents' personal Pin Points balances.
9. Prohibited Conduct & Legal Enforcement
You agree not to:
- Use false identity, forged documents, or fraudulent utility bills for registration or verification.
- Register unauthorized claims to residential addresses not under your lawful physical occupancy.
- Engage in scams, phishing, fraudulent goods sales, or deceptive barter practices.
- Harass, threaten, stalk, or abuse other neighbors or Platform administrators.
- Circumvent verification gates, manipulate private receipts, or exploit platform currency.
- Post spam, illegal narcotics, firearms, counterfeit goods, or unauthorized commercial advertisements.
- Attempt to scrape, reverse-engineer, exploit, or breach the technical infrastructure of the Platform.
Enforcement & Legal Notice: Any resident or user found engaging in prohibited conduct, identity falsification, or fraudulent marketplace practices will be subject to immediate account suspension, permanent removal from the service, forfeiture of all unbacked platform points (PP), and referral for civil or criminal prosecution under applicable Philippine laws, including but not limited to the Cybercrime Prevention Act of 2012 (Republic Act No. 10175), the Data Privacy Act of 2012 (Republic Act No. 10173), and the Revised Penal Code of the Philippines.
10. Suspension & Account Deletion
10.1 Investigative Freezing & Suspension. We reserve the right to freeze, restrict, or suspend accounts immediately upon receipt of credible fraud reports, address disputes, or Terms violations. During suspension, login access and active listings are disabled while preserving ledger and audit histories for security investigations.
10.2 Voluntary Deactivation. You may request account deactivation at any time through Application Settings. Deactivation freezes your active profile while retaining necessary transaction receipts in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
10.3 Voluntary Account Deletion. You may request permanent deletion of your account and personal data at any time through Application Settings or by contacting Platform Administration. Upon processing, account deletion cascades to purge your personal profile identifiers and active listings while preserving anonymized transactional ledger records for accounting integrity.
11. User Content & Moderation
11.1 Content License. You retain ownership of content you post (listings, photos, notes). You grant YourNodo a non-exclusive license to display and distribute your listings solely for local marketplace operations.
11.2 Moderation & Suspension. Content violating community safety standards, false claims, or prohibited items will be removed or suspended from public feeds without prior notice.

15. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through the Platform (via in-app notice or email). Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
